Thank you! So one way to get the effect for free is to have a high quality image of paper or canvas and upload it as the top layer of the drawing and then set that layer to “multiply”. You can find images on Google or Pinterest or take your own with a camera.

The paper files from this drawing are from True Grit Texture Supply in their Debaser pack for Procreate (that’s also the pack that includes the brushes I used in this drawing). Their “paper” comes with a layer called “paper highlights” that is set to “screen” and brings the texture out a little more but the free way I described earlier will get you pretty close. Hope that helps!
