Aww...thank you so much! What a kind thing to say!

And it's so nice to read this. I have never been a creative type and only picked up watercolours because i have to listen to audiobooks and my mind wanders if i don't have something to do simultaneously.

But it has been really so much fun!

Really? That’s so funny because it looks purposeful, so your mistake turned into more art! You’re a natural LOL! I seriously thought it was a page from an editorial magazine, that’s how good it is. The subject of the art is so different, it feels fresh like I haven’t seen it before. Please keep creating art!

This is magnificent, I love the contrast of the people with the black background, the red, green, and white colors are really striking ❤️ You did an amazing job with the people, I thought it was a photo at first

thanks for the feedback, i tend to use graphite as this is the tool I have used to practise and learn all the stuff, and also graphite tends to be more precise, I really like using 0.3 and 0.5 mechanical pencils, charcoal can`t get that sharp imo.

Yea I guess you’re right about the pressing hard part. Nothing wrong with using it, it has a nice appearance, just always hated the silvery shine it gives. But with your lite shading style, you don’t suffer from that so it’s understandable.

Why not use charcoal though. I look at graphite as a learning man’s/woman’s tools. I hate the way graphite has that silvery shine in the light. Fabre Castell has a set of “Matte” graphite pencils. It still has a small bit of shine to them, but not nearly as much as other brands. Overall though, I’d just use charcoal pencils. Nevertheless, this is a good drawing
