Reply to husband's coworker ( F30) asking my husband why he's so protective of me (f 29) by [deleted]
I don’t get that she wants him, is miserable in her own marriage, is searching for cracks to exploit, needs to be reported to HR. Y’all are nuts.😂
She sounds like she was asking why it seems like your husband can’t have a conversation without feeling he needs to defend you. I don’t understand why you think this woman - who works with your husband - should be focusing on/paying attention to/sitting next to you at work events. Lolol. The women my husband works with are polite to me, but none are looking to be my bestie.
Well, unless they’ve had to much to drink. I once had a 20-something admin come running to hug me and gush over me. Ew. My husband is her boss. I would have preferred she ignored me!

Reply to Open letter calling for Pause on Giant AI experiments such as GPT4 included lots of fake signatures by Neurogence
Ok, so there were a bunch of fake signatures. The post you linked also says "Edit: Just to clarify, the open letter is real and most of the signatures are real (Elon Musk, Gary Marcus, Emad (stablediffusion creator) all did sign it and fully support to ban research on GPT models stronger than GPT4 for at least 6 months". So my point stands.

I agree with just trying to lift it off.
Are you sure the gap doesn't appear by design? I've seen door hinges lift like this when they are meant to self-close.

That's great for the other guy's insurance company, instead of paying for the actual damages, they will pay you $500, let you take the hit for making a claim against your own policy which will probably raise your rates, and let your insurance company pay for everything else. It's a scam and dishonest, you should go through the other driver's insurance all the way. If they still give you a hard time, call your insurance and tell them what happened.

Reply to Dispensaries that don’t take all of your info/make you buy online first? by Historical-Bat-3559
I can't remember for sure but I think the last couple times I went in Mass they just scan your id and put your order into a database. It's to prevent you from exceeding the daily limit by going to the next dispensary over and loading up again.
At least I think that's what they did..was a while ago.

I know exactly what they’ll do if OP takes this offer. They will cover OP’s damages per their collision policy, and promptly tell OP that they will need to find a new insurer, because they will no longer do business with OP.

Reply to How do you eat your fries: one at a time, multiple at a time, in one bite, in three bites, with sauce, etc?? by [deleted]
Depends on the fries. Usually sauce one at a time with a few bites for long fries, multiple in one bite for short fries.

The same can be said for a lot of activities like this.
I own a Onewheel which is an electronic skateboard with a single wheel.
They call it "floating" when you ride and it's seriously meditative. When you really get into it it's very serendipitous.
