Conversely, stating a certain film "won too many Oscars" without actually considering what categories the film won.
I saw someone bitching that Black Panther won too many Oscars because the movie was actually mid and the final fight was terrible. Do they stop and consider that the film didn't win best picture, or best screenplay, or best direction, or best visual effects, but instead won in categories that were fairly well deserved against that year's competition,? Nope. Just too many Oscars because the movie was just okay.
There's this misconception sometimes that if a film wins an Oscar that means the film as a whole has to be fantastic, when really it just needs to be exceptional compared to the competition in that specific category.

I used to make jokes about The Senior Phone. It would have big buttons, clearly marked places to put it to your ear and mouth, and would be only a phone, not a computer. It was no joke anymore when Motorola introduced the Jitterbug. It seems like they were onto something.

I had willington pizza this Monday and modern this Wednesday, sausage and mushroom both places, and I have to say the Greek pizza at willington was more enjoyable. Their crust is absolutely delicious. Modern was good no doubt, but it was really greasy and I felt bad eating more than a couple slices. I guess to be fair pizza twice in 3 days might have put modern at a disadvantage. Call it a tie. But I'm not sold on this new haven thing, and I'm definitely going to check out these Willimantic places.

Lol I can't believe people upvoted that shit. Besides the fact that you actually have to use your lower body in any capacity to play golf, it also requires significantly more forceful upper body movement. I've had a sore back/hands from golf (I'm sure elbow and shoulder injuries are common as well), never experienced soreness from playing csgo.

It's a setting that keeps a consistent warm temperature in order to proof bread doughs. Proofing is allowing the yeast to replicate in the dough and generate gas to leaven it.

Ooooh, okay that makes a lot of sense! I guess I never fully thought on just how tall a tree can be under the snow. I'm so used to shorter trees where I live.

Not a mechanic, but it could be that when the ignition is activated there are signals the engine computer (ECU) could use to decide whether or not it will allow the engine to start/run. Maybe those signals or measurements look different when a key is inserted and turned vs. someone smashing the ignition cover and hotwiring.
VW was able to tell when their cars were being emissions tested vs. driving normally and cheat the tests, so there are tricks that can be pulled.
Or I could be completely wrong.

If you can make extra payments without penalty, then once the balance is over you are done. And paying extra not only gets it over faster but even saves you money overall with less interest.
> that would make the principal AND interest owed per month lower, correct?
Monthly payments stay the same (except maybe last payment), just end sooner.

I think they're a lot of causes for the shortage. Not building for many years didn't help. Second homes don't help. Gentrification doesn't help.
