Have you tried a genomind genetic test for medication efficacy? My mom has lots of similar issues and while it seemed like BS at first, the results have actually been really helpful for her to navigate different pain medications and have accurately predicted which ones she'll rapidly metabolize and which ones will stick around for longer.

One of my favorites is probably this little Jackie song by Little Jackie – The World Should Revolve Around Me, because if you look at how the song originally started – found here – they pulled off a damn miracle by turning it into what it became. 🤣

For the record the variation that came out on the Denver pride remix CD in the 2000s is hands down the best version of that song. I would have to dig the CD out to figure out who it was that arranged it but it was great.
