I'm doing alright. There's this girl at work and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to ask her for her number. I don't like to do it because I'm introverted and kinda socially awkward but I don't think I'm gonna be able to sleep on this one for too long.

I'm getting tripped up because if she says no, then it ain't gonna be that bad. At least it shouldn't be. But see, there's a chance that she won't say no and that could turn out really really good.

I pretty much have nothing to lose and if I don't ever say anything then I won't ever know. I dunno. I'm kicking it around in my head.

How about yourself?

So, I have tried something for the past year or so and after 8:30 pm or so I try to have whatever room I am in as dim as possible. That means keeping any mobile devices on night setting, sitting as far away from a bright light source as possible and using a salt lamp nightlight in the bedroom instead of a reading lamp by the bed. As a result, I find myself falling asleep much faster and sleeping deeper than I would otherwise. In effect, simulating a long period of twilight instead of abruptly going from a brightly lit living room into a dark bedroom to sleep. It’s really helped me overall, I have to say.

I've never been skiing or snowboarding before. I've never even seen real snow in my life. But I would have thought it was common sense that you stay away from trees because they hurt when you crash into them anyway. This tree well thing just gives another reason to stay away from them

The earth/moon thing is a little off, but not incorrect. The right triangle you'd create based on their radiuses is Phi. If you knew as much as you'd like to think, you could have corrected that. Everything else stands and your first sentence is just you projecting. Like, go look at a piano, wise guy... Missing the forest for the trees
