Well, maybe that’s a stretch. I live in Norway, where we have this different kind of politeness. We try to do as little communication with strangers as possible because we don’t want to bother each other with unnecessary chit chat. You get weird looks if you randomly start talking with a stranger.

Basically we leave each other alone and we mind our own business. That’s considered polite here.

Off road capable vehicles are like indoor outdoor basketballs, they don’t actually work well outdoors. They’re certainly better than indoor balls (regular cars), but if you want something that’s actually useful in rough terrain, you want something that’s specifically built for it. Not something that claims to do both.

I just know he may see it that way, as his ex used to withhold affection and sex apparently. I’m not getting in to that specifically though, that’s a whole ass problem in itself - and one I have zero facts for.

But yeah it shocked me that he was seemingly genuinely frustrated at me saying no.

“My boyfriend says I’m not allowed…”

Nope, he doesn’t get to decide what you’re “allowed” to do. He doesn’t have authority over you!

Sounds like you both just have different perspectives on alcohol, and there’s no right or wrong. Personally I only drink with other people because I see it as a social thing, but there are plenty of people who enjoy having a drink at home in the evening. The only thing that’s wrong here is the fact that this is an argument and not just a difference of opinion.

Your values oppose eachother. You cannot say you don't want drugs legalized and then at the same time say you think possession should not be a crime. The only way to make anything not a crime is to legalize it.the only way to make anything illigal is to write it into law and criminalize it.....you cannot act like there is no answer when there is one right infront of you.
