I think you mean armorer, which is a different role to props master, but that's who most people seem to want to blame.

But it needs to be emphasised that the armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was hired as both armorer and props assistant, and days before the shooting a line producer had told her off for dedicating too much time to weapons safety and not enough to assisting the props master. She pushed back, complaining about the lax gun safety on set, but was overruled. So on the day of the shooting she was elsewhere, assisting the props master, as she'd been told to.

It was the AD who decided to go ahead with an unscheduled rehearsal that involved a gun without calling for the armorer. He took the weapon, declared it cold himself, and handed it to Baldwin - none of which he should have done, and he should have known that. So he's definitely negligent in that sense but obviously a bunch of things went wrong leading up to this - not least bad management. I mean who hires a part time armorer on a western?

Just generated one from google's Bard AI. Pretty good job if anyone wants to use it:

Dear Governor Murphy and State Legislators,

I am writing to you today to urge you to support the Liberty State Park Protection Act. This legislation would preserve Liberty State Park as a public urban green open space free of inappropriate privatization.

Liberty State Park is a national treasure. It is a place where people from all walks of life can come to enjoy the outdoors, learn about our history, and connect with nature. The park is home to a variety of natural habitats, including forests, wetlands, and meadows. It is also a popular spot for fishing, biking, and hiking.

In recent years, there have been several proposals to privatize or develop parts of Liberty State Park. These proposals would threaten the park's natural beauty and its value as a public resource. The Liberty State Park Protection Act would prevent these proposals from moving forward and ensure that the park remains a public park for all to enjoy.

I urge you to support the Liberty State Park Protection Act. This legislation is essential to protecting our state's most precious natural resource.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

If you are either end of the spectrum you can get a doula. My wife had state insurance and we’re pretty broke but that included a doula all through the pregnancy and was a great help. Unfortunately Covid restrictions kept them from being in the actual room at that point but that may be different now.

South End has crazy amounts of good food. Around there specifically, I would recommend ilona (Mediterranean small plates), Barcelona Wine Bar (for paella), and the Beehive (more upscale bar with food and live music) but that's far from an exhaustive list.

Anywhere in the city is accessible with a T pass, which you should both get 7-day unlimited given you will be traveling on it a lot, so really don't just be confined to the South End. Hell you could walk from there to anywhere if you're committed enough.

On weekends there is plenty of a bar scene downtown for really all ages.

Other than the Freedom Trail, I would really recommend the Harvard Arboretum if the weather is nice, the MFA and Isabella Stuart Gardner art museums, and the Main Branch of the Boston Public Library (really just to look around at the beautiful building).

You're coming at a transition time where the weather could be great or horrible so really pack for whatever, but if you look around (including the threads in this subreddit), you'll find plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. Hopefully at least one day it'll be nice enough to just go out and explore at least one of these linear parks: the Emerald Necklace, the Commonwealth Avenue Mall and Boston Common, and the Charles River Esplanade.

Those are just my general ramblings, have fun! Don't be afraid to ask anyone for help, everyone here is really in their own heads and looks mean until you talk to them.
