I mean, if you REALLY want to get into semantics (especially the Greek ones), all genres falls into the category of “tragedy ” or “comedy”. Anything beyond that is based on a series of tropes that get associated with each other over time. I think it’s possible but I wouldn’t go looking for its name before I have its number.

There’s another Denzel movie called Out of Time that’s a similar vibe to those other ones (although not as good). And if you haven’t seen The Equalizer movies with him, I think you’d like them. There’s a couple Harrison Ford movies from the 90s that are great, Clear & Present Danger, Patriot Games, and Air Force One. White House Down. Lucky Number Slevin. Broken Arrow. The Rock. Those are all I can think of off the top of my head.

There is value in things beyond surface level enjoyment. Many experiences, even apparently boring, uncomfortable, and even painful ones can bring important lessons. I don't think it is a healthy approach for a person to try to strip all but the most "enjoyable" or comfortable elements out of their life, and this applies also to reading books.

It's not going to kill you to spend an extra couple of days reading the slow bits. But it might bring a lot of value.
