As others have said, the main downside is the risk of over contributing and forfeiting the money (happened a lot during covid because day cares closed). Also, it can be a hassle to get reimbursed - make sure to stay on top of the paperwork and don't miss deadlines.

Someone locked their bike up to the front gate of our building. It swung inwards and we were all stuck until our landlord came by and cut the bike frame. The bike lock hung there for a decade as a warning. I loved that crazy man.

Eastern, Washington; Idaho. As others have said, parts of the Peninsula get more sunny days than most of Western Washington. Sometimes Whidbey and San Juan Islands will have sunshine when other areas don't as well.

Goddard School Walton Park is where we take our kid. Expensive but I think that’s everywhere. It is a great place in general bc the teachers are good!

Up until 18 months it’s about $1380 a month and just now went down $75 for turning 18 months (different room). But I do 4 days a week instead of 5. Also fully close the last week of December which is hinders us because we both work full time jobs.
