Don't! You'll come across as a jealous person in others eyes and may encourage her to flirt more with your partner. Your partner is already doing a good job at ignoring her. If she continues then he's the one who should shut it down.

This was a pretty major tornado that touched down right as it got into a pretty heavily populated part of Little Rock then traveled across a good chunk of the city, and has resulted in a lot of injuries and property damage. The local hospitals and emergency services are getting slammed right now. At least an EF3 tornado.

If the cops look good, wouldn’t recruitment rates go up? Or is that not appealing to people anymore?

Agreed. Seasons 1 and 4 were fantastic. 2 was decent. 3 and 5 were a mess.

The cheating is bad enough, but ignoring you after what he did is crappy. This is not a good guy. I don't see any remorse. He has you chasing him. That's insane. Block him and go no contact.

If you're comfortable in your relationship - then it doesn't matter what she does; your partner isn't interested and what she does makes not a jot of difference to you.
The high ground is to just do nothing; but if I was you, I would take solace in the fact she is hitting on the person you're engaged to - and would make a point of being disingenuously nice to her, so as to rub her nose in it. She'll eventually get the hint.

Yeah - and it kind of started around the time they dropped their famous slogan. Seems that implying one will no longer operate ethically may have had some knock-on effects.

Reply to Just my two cents by [deleted]
My 3 cents is that you could have gone to a more “neutral” forum but no, you chose to come to the exact forum about singularity.
My counter-argument is really simple. Forget all the technical stuff because I am not expert in the field. Let’s assume that the current language model as it is going forwards would be able to do things like taking video input and give a feed back, sort of like how GPT has done on text and images but a step further, in our life time.
That would mean that at the very least, high end education would no longer be a scarce resources. It could be as accessible as porn and you no longer need to spend thousands of dollars to just get to learn or acquire those knowledge.
So what is going to happen in this situation is that the current scientific research by HUMANS would have new brain power injected exponentially. Now we have millions of people who are able to contribute because we all have access to personal tutors who understand quantum physics, ageing, medicine, material science and you name it.
There are billions of human mind on this planet so how many can contribute to those fields if we have access to an all-knowing tool that can help you with all the current human knowledge?
That includes AI research. That’s why it’s extremely unlikely that the point we are at can be slowed down unless something huge and catastrophic happen to our civilization.
I don’t know have background in coding but I could build an app with ChatGPT. I cannot draw or photoshop but I can manipulate images with Stable Diffusion. So you are so wrong. The genie is out already and you point could be valid if we were in 2018.

Reply to comment by insight7777 in Paying off car loan in full vs. paying off student loans in full vs. downpayment on property by nearlymind
That’s what I would do. Focus on car first before student loans pick up, and maybe pay off a chunk of student loans before August so principle is lower while there’s no interest and probably shave off a couple months at the end of the loan. But still save more for the downpayment as you do this. And I wouldn’t do it all at once with that $50K

Reply to comment by bozatwork in Richmond Public Schools offer bonuses up to $12,000 by Charlesinrichmond
Nah. This is an absolute SLAP IN THE FACE for any RPS educator that has stuck it out through the past few years. Teachers are leaving and getting ready to leave schools that were never previously “hard to staff”. This year has been especially hard. They announce 12k sign on bonuses without even mention of a retention bonus is hurtful no matter how you try to spin it. That cute little 12% raise over time is cool and everything, but the way our healthcare cost constantly increases as well as the cost of everything else increases, it really isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I assure you that many many many teachers are disheartened by this and it has swayed some folks toward the exit door who were previously on the fence.
