Nope, that's not what I want at all. I'd like NPCs trained on their own back story & ingame lore/facts to deliver unscripted dialogue to unscripted questions that fits that world within the parameters of not breaking plot points or game progression... obviously

> It's crazy how all the RCO is asking for is to do things the city government should be doing but won't. Trees? Can't have those, cost too much to maintain and you'd have to lose some parking if you want to fit them into CC... Loading zones? Can't have those, need to preserve the parking...

SO MUCH THIS. I'd be down with doing city planning and beautification this way. In fact, it's my preferred method. But I prefer it because it accomplishes wider development goals with the minimal impact on property rights and minimizes costs to the taxpayer... Which obviously isn't the case here since we already have god damn wage taxes, sugar taxes, sales taxes. Like damn you'd hope with all that money coming in you could plant s fucking tree!

I felt very seen in your second paragraph. Jesus Christ this city. Anyway, this building looks dope and I'm excited

Some ppl are educated enough to keep their ire aimed only at the Japanese gov, but many Chinese still have an ethnic distrust for the Japanese. This usually does not prevent them from enjoying anime & sushi, however

Edit - For anyone that doubts me, my friend was called a “Japanese dog” by random strangers that he didn’t wrong in any way

Every so often the IT industry gets something new that will "OMG change everything". We already had Java, Scala, Python, Agile, Pentium IV with its unlimited GHz, raytracing and dozens of other overhyped things. And what? Nothing. In the end all the old things are still there, and the new hyped stuff either falls into obscurity or just becomes another ordinary tool among thousands we already have. So no, nothing will change.

TLDR: I will believe it when it happens. Until then I'm back to programming in 51 years old C programming language.

Except that right now, language models are generating plausible, but inaccurate output. It can only work with the data its given. Maybe it will never get better than that. The alchemists kept thinking that they were going to get gold from lead if they worked at it long enough. We are still waiting.
