Reply to comment by amandack in ELI5: If benzodiazepines are CNS depressants, why is it so hard to die from a overdose of them alone? by psychrolute
Eugh I hate reddit for doing what I'm about to do, but I always find this distinction interesting.
Strictly it's 50% of the population would die.
The reason why that is different than '50% chance of dying' is because 50%chance of death implies that everytime you take that dose you're flipping a coin. The reality is that if you tried it once and it didn't kill you, it would never kill you (ignoring the fact that this is certainly not true due to everything from the liver damage you would sustain to the fact you'd be aging as time went on). But if you were able to repeat the same experiment on yourself again and again after the first outcome where it didn't kill you, it is not 50% chance of death each time.

I agree! My significant other is in school to become a therapist and I’m currently in therapy, so I was like, “Wow, this feels familiar!” Lol

Reply to comment by Prestigious-Yak4344 in Do crossovers work? 🤔 by FaceTimePolice
Yeah that’s part of what I wanted to dig into. I didn’t mention that in my original post, but yes, crossovers are obviously working to some extent or they wouldn’t continue doing it. It was just weird to me, personally, because I’ve never bought another game simply because of the crossover. 😅

There is a locally owned car wash on the corner of Scenic and Walnut Lawn. Has 3-4 self service stalls.

There’s lots of advice here about specific exercises/stretches but you don’t really know what you need until you see a physical therapist. If you have access that should be your first step. Doing random things trying to find what works might even make it worse! I also found that PT taught me how to recognize hurt (pain) from harm (injury) which stopped me from babying my back when it hurt to the point that it was getting weaker and more vulnerable

I love the way you treat me.
I love how you don't open the door for me because you know I am independent
I love your so driven that you sometimes forget about me
I love confident you are especially when your wrong
I love how you explain every little thing to me because you care
I love how you always tell me that i need to fix my hair
I love how you like to keep my ego down when you flirt with the woman giving us the check
I love how you make me pay for everything we do because you know how much I like work hard
I love how you always slam the door to make sure I hear that you are off to the bar
I love when you storm off to give me the space I need
I love how I have to say the opposite of what I mean
