I recently cut out a few friends of mine who weren't putting forth the same effort to make plans and see each other, and while it hurt at first, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't have to try anymore, and I don't get my feelings hurt anymore by their lack of outreach.

Learning to let go has been one of the most valuable skills I've acquired in adulthood.

We do though. The Nigeria can not buy oil from Saudi Arabia for any currency other than U.S. dollars. So if Nigeria doesn't have dollars, the easiest way to get them is to sell goods to the US for dollars, and then use those dollars to buy oil.

Also, Henry Kissinger went to Saudi Arabia in 1973, and we made a deal with them that they will not sell oil for any other currency other than dollars, and we will make sure the Sauds stay in power in the region and in their kingdom.

This is one way the U.S. holds it's hegemony over the world.

I completely agree that tow companies are shady and do illegal things. I have been towed twice in my life and both times I was swindled out of extra cash. One time because they "only took American Express" So I had to use their ATM which charged an insane fee and then they " didn't have change" So my option was to walk to a gas station like half a mile away or just give them an extra $15 bucks. I opted for the latter. The second time they just didn't take credit cards at all and they also "didn't have change" to give me.

But your case is based on two posters who got towed after they illegally parked. That is not a "recent uptick." That is two people who got towed after they illegally parked. I think to expose an illegal towing operation we have to start with cars that weren't supposed to be towed in the first place.

Abs on my k10, the product page should say. I have mine a fair shake but finally swapped them yesterday. I prefer the harder textured feel of pbt (stock set on my ducky one2) and had a set that I bought on clearance a while ago and finally put on.

The keychron caps broke in a bit with use and got less smooth but I still don't readily like them.

9 months with this board, used 3-4 days a week for work but not continuous typing

Something like that isn’t totally out of the picture but I agree that there should be more frequent service for neighborhoods outside center city in the regional rail in place of something like the BSL

Libraries have expanded in a lot of new exciting directions over the past years - cool summary here and it encompasses things the county is already doing on some level in various spaces (makers space - Glenwood, DIY rental Elkridge, stop by East Columbia any day after school to see what a hot spot that is with teens and school aged kids for learning)- I suspect this library will be showcase that folds many things together.

You broke up with her and she kissed someone else. She doesn't have to and won't regret this the rest of her life; it's a trivial thing she did and she didn't do it to you. You dumped her and she reacted. It's part of dumping someone, that the person you dump may lash out or run out and do something sexually with someone else? If you can't stand the thought of kissing her anymore, and you already dumped her for (lol) feeling you were no longer meant to be, perhaps leave each other as ex partners and move on?
