He doesn’t complain, he makes jokes saying he doesn’t have friends anymore, and I’ve even asked in our couples therapy sessions (we go for maintenance, not big issues) and he swears up and down he’s good.

If you're going to throw out accusations maybe at least be a touch more detailed?
Which trainer? What technique? What equipment did you feel was improperly maintained? What qualifications do you have to determine it was improperly maintained?

Two choices. Ask him why he said he was a banker when he’s not. A project manager makes financial decisions and it sounds as if he also is involved in getting initial investments. But. He lied. It’s recent. I would move on. I wouldn’t even trust that you actually know what his job is.

Completely untrue on every single level. Pembrokes are docked. I owned one.
You're literally commenting on a photo of an undocked Pembroke lol seriously did you put any thought into this at all
Here's confirmation if you really need it since you apparently didn't even google a basic fact before barfing nonsense into a reply: https://stumpsandrumps.com/corgi-tails/

Immortals: Fenyx Rising.
Was by Ubisoft, and appeared to take a lot from Breath of the Wild, so got a log of guff in the media and I'm assuming took a big hit in sales. But it's a REALLY GOOD game.

Obviously it's arbitrary. The fact that it's arbitrary doesn't change the fact that we came to it through our model for the world and our reasoning. Even if that reasoning was based on assumptions that ended up invalid.
Lots of choices society makes are arbitrary. Red and green traffic signals, using commas for pauses and periods for stops, using these particular 26 shapes as an alphabet... but just because we make arbitrary collective choices that could have gone a different way, doesn't mean there wasn't a reason for the choice at the time we made it.
