Taxes aren't based only on what you earn. They're also based on your filing status for that year, how many dependents you have, account interest earned that didn't generate a form (IIRC most banks don't send this unless it's over $10), money you gifted over the annual exclusion limit (not taxed until you use up your lifetime limit, but the IRS doesn't know about this until it happens), how much you contributed to IRAs (any forms generated for this happens after taxes close out), how much you contributed to HSAs (other than through your employer), etc., etc.

Point is they may know how much you make, but until they know everything above and more they don't know how much you owe.

Could they send everyone an estimated tax return? Yes. Would that eliminate the need for people to scrutinize their work and correct any errors? No.

Two factors, reputation and price.

For example, Indian Space agency, ISRO, has a much better track record at launching satellites, and has developed means to send multiple ones in the same payload. Recently, it launched 36 (or 32?) satellites for a UK based StarLink competitor as part of the same payload. It also holds record for launching 102 satellites at the same time. It has launched satellites for countries around the world, including the USA and Israel. And it's costs are competitive.

I would revise this for a lot of people today:

LPT. Befriend a cop. You might realize it's foolish to throw an umbrella over a certain group of people. Shitty cops make the news, people are upset and want to "defund the police." Most cops are good people. Cops are undertrained. Cops have a very hard job the majority of people would not want to do or be capable of doing. Cops are stressed and make mistakes.

I said that because you purposefully misconstrued my question to make your own point. And now you've been arguing a movie where you can't see or hear anything would be "good" by some measure. I don't think you actually believe that so I'm not going to engage with this anymore.

I'm not assuming anything: I have a modern understanding of the Earths relationship to the sun. Past humans collectively did assume based on their observations and measurements of the sun (see ancient structures marking the solstice or equinox), but it would be ignorant to discount that those early assumptions led to the modern conventions we use.

Also those laws are absolutely applicable to tow companies that tow off of private property. That’s the whole point of them. “The amended Act regulates tows from private property, and tows initiated by law enforcement, without the prior consent of the vehicle’s owner or operator.”

If this is something that has been going on for many years, then I will take your word for it, I almost never go to ShopRite or Target so I would not know. The recent uptick of posts like this on the Reddit made me think this is a recent and new issue. However, it doesn’t mean the tows aren’t illegal.

You got a source for this? Because I can't find one. I don't think the US has any say over whether Nigeria can buy oil from Saudi Arabia in US dollars. If Nigeria holds US dollars that it obtained legally, I don't see any way that the US can stop them from using them from purchasing good and service from anyone who will accept them as payment.

The real answer is that as long as the USD is the reference currency of commerce around the world that other currencies base their value on, the US can continue to print money without it greatly affecting its value. That's why we work so hard to make sure that the USD is what everyone uses...

I'd go looking for the little pots. I think your's is the same size as mine. We just make single serving soups with it which is why it's so great. Forinstance ATM I'm thinking I do in fact feel like a little nourishment. I'm going to spend about 1 minute and make some tom yum soup. If you go to china town in any suitably large city, or really any Chinese type grocery store, you'll find these little double lid ceramic glazed pots. We do have a bigger one that takes up almost the entire tatung. I used that to cook ribs and it was pretty damn perfect.

Our smaller ones are the perfect size. We actually bought one for a friend of our's that is even smaller and fits in her instant pot.
