But germany had a more clear distinction between the traditional German armed forces (which were still guilty of plenty of war crimes) and the Nazi party and their military organizations (the SS and the SA). Nothing to do with the SS and the SA survived.

In Japan there was no equivalent political movement that swept into power and perverted the national psyche. It was the traditional institutions that led the charge.

This:

>It makes me feel like I’m alone.

Is a result of:

>he last few months has been treating me like trash. He never touches me, initiates sex not even kiss me. I have to like beg for his attention or intercourse.

Not because of anything wrong with you.

He is not giving you his end of the relationship.

When someone checks out, its time for you to check out.

Profit is not at the expense of someone else. That’s such a naive understanding of economics. Exchanges only happen with both parties profit. Otherwise why would you do the exchange if you were not valuing the good or service over what you’re exchanging?

You may need to review your definitions. And I expect downvotes given this sub’s anti-capitalist stance. Shame.

MacIntyre is super important IMO and not nearly enough people know the ideas he was getting at. Think about all the time people spend arguing on the internet - what are they actually doing? Concepts like "blue lies," "concern trolls," and other social behaviors around rhetoric that undermine discourse as debate - if you have some MacIntyre handy it makes a lot more sense than if you don't.
